Guests gather at the Ignite Discovery campaign launch inside the museum.
Nearly 287,000 kids and grown-ups came last year, 32,000 of them free or subsidized. Gifts make that possible.
For 30 years the museum has been where curiosity starts. Annual Fund donors keep admission within reach through Museums for All and free Community Nights, put certified teachers in 27,481 classroom seats a year, and keep eleven galleries fresh. Every gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
